United Way branch in The Woodlands offering student internships

The Montgomery County United Way will be the recipient of United Ways of Texas' Robert M. Tinstman Fellowship for internships for the fall semester of 2011.

Income fellows must have taken courses in economics, sociology or social work, and have research and analysis experience, writing experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Marketing fellows need strong communication skills and must possess an attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Additionally, they must have experience with Microsoft Publisher, Word and Photoshop. Experience with the Joomla website application is a plus, as are Spanish-speaking skills.

Fellows must be undergraduate or graduate students at an accredited college or university who have completed 45-plus college credit hours with a minimum 2.5 grade point average overall. The student will spend 20 hours each week at the Montgomery County United Way. The United Way system is comprised of professionals of diverse backgrounds, therefore students of any major course of study will be considered.
