Avia The Woodlands changes name to Hyatt Market Street
Hyatt Hotels & Resorts has announced that Avia The Woodlands, located 30 minutes north of Houston, has changed its name to Hyatt Market Street, The Woodlands.
The hotel is located at Market Street, which is also home to more than 90 luxury retailers and 17 restaurants. The hotel has 70 rooms and suites, including a classic guest room, grand suite, lux suite, master patio suite and two signature presidential hosting suites. All rooms and suites include a variety of amenities, including an in-room refreshment bar, 42-inch flat-panel televisions, alarm clock radios with MP3 docking stations with spacious work areas.
It is located near the new Market Street Kitchen and Barwhich.
Meeting spaces include the 2,240-square-foot state room with veranda, the cabana room and terrace patio and outdoor terrace. The presidential hosting suites are 1,835 square feet each and suitable for smaller meetings.
The hotel is located a few minutes from George Bush Intercontinental Airport, as well as major employers in The Woodlands including Anadarko, McKesson/US Oncology, Chervron Phillips Chemical, Huntsman Chemical, Baker Hughes and Aon/Hewitt, among others.
