Township chairman to speak at trade show

Bruce C. Tough, The Woodlands Township chairman of the board, will give opening remarks at the Texas Recreation & Park Society Annual Institute and Trade Show to be held Wednesday, Feb. 29 to Friday, March 2 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott.

The show is expected to bring more than 1,000 park and recreational professionals and sponsors to The Woodlands. According to a press release, it will feature educational sessions with leaders from around the nation speaking about a variety of issues relating to park, recreation and leisure services.

The event also includes a trade show that provides information and research on the latest trends and technology available to the park and recreation field, according to the release.

The Woodlands Waterway Marriott is located at 1601 Lake Robbins Drive.
