Woodlands FD opens fire station No. 7
The Woodlands Township Board of Directors gathered to commemorate the opening of the first Woodlands Fire Department station in Harris County, Station 7.
The Woodlands Fire Department opened its first station located at 26722 Kuykendahl Road in Harris County on Feb. 12.
The facility, known as Station 7, is 12,000 square feet and includes living quarters, dorm rooms, an administrative office, conference/study room, work room, three apparatus bays, decontamination room and physical wellness room. The new facility also has a fire engine, brush pumper and rescue boat.
The staff at this facility, which includes the Cypress Creek EMS Unit, provides fire, rescue and EMS services and offers a five-minute response criteria for the Creekside Park, Indian Springs and Sterling Ridge areas.
