Market takes pride in taking care of health

The 13th anniversary of The Health Market is under way at the food store in The Woodlands.
Cheryl Lemoine Kainer, store owner and The Woodlands resident, said in a press release that the store is dedicated to improving the health of Montgomery County residents. She said the staff at the store can help customers live up to the store's motto of "Take Care of Yourself" by answering any questions about the store's products.
The press release stated that the store offers not only food but also enzymes, herbs, minerals and vitamins, personal care items, aromatherapy, homeopathics, books and pet care products. It also stated that many products are wheat- and gluten-free foods.
The staff at The Health Market includes certified alternative health practitioners and certified nutritional consultants. Some of the alternative health services offered at the store include iridology, hair analysis, kinesiology, reflexology and ion foot detox. All of these services are by appointment only.
The store is located at 427 Sawdust Road, The Woodlands, and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and closed on Sunday.
