Lone Star College to host business seminar on May 11
Lone Star Corporate College is offering a professional development seminar in mediation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 11 at the Lone Star Community Building, 5000 Research Forest Drive.
The "Business and Mediation" professional development seminar offered is a part of the Lone Star College Networking Series.
According to a press release, the presentation will provide attendees with information regarding the advantages of mediation, why many courts order mediation, and who or what can be mediated.
In addition, the difference between mediation, arbitration and litigation will be discussed.
The presentation will be given by Gerri Dorsett, who is the owner of Resolve Today, and David Swallow. Both Dorsett and Swallow are TMCA credential-distinguished mediators.
