Children's Safe Harbor to host Casino Night Sept. 29
A Casino Night dinner and fundraiser to benefit Children's Safe Harbor will be held from 6:30-10:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29 at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center.
The Betting on Courage event will support the work of the agency to heal the trauma of child victims ages 2 to 17 who have suffered any form of physical or sexual abuse.
Individual tickets for the evening are $300, and sponsorship levels range from $1,000-$15,000.
Proceeds will be used by the child advocacy center to provide a safe, child-friendly place that coordinates all of the professionals mandated to respond to child abuse. Children's Safe Harbor serves Montgomery, San Jacinto and Walker counties. The organization received an average of 3,000 reports of abuse last year alone, according to a press release.
The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center is located at 2301 N. Millbend Drive, in The Woodlands.
Children's Safe Harbor is located at 1519 Oddfellow St., in Conroe.
