Aquatic Center to offer open-water scuba course

Those interested in gaining scuba-diving certification are invited to take a course through the Professional Association of Diving Instructors.

The course is being offered at the Conroe Aquatic Center, 1205 Callahan Ave., and is designed for students age 12. The cost is $200 for residents, $240 for non-residents and will cover all classroom materials, training and equipment.

Orientation will take place at 7:30 p.m. July 31. A class schedule will be decided then based on everyone’s schedule.
