Woodlands Township Rec Center to hold chess camp
The Recreation Center of Woodlands Township will hold a "Lesson on the Go: Chess Camp" for youth ages 8-12 from 3-6 p.m. Aug. 20 through Aug. 24.
Participants will learn from two top chess instructors who will teach strategy and tactics by using actual games. New chess concepts will be introduced each day.
The fee is $230 per person, which includes a camp T-shirt.
The camp will be held in Building II located at 8203 Millennium Forest Drive, The Woodlands.
