Where are the lowest gas prices in the Woodlands?
Gas prices in and around The Woodlands were lower than the averages for Texas, Houston, and the country as a whole for the week of Aug. 5, according to data from the price-tracking website gasbuddy.com.
Visitors to the gasbuddy.com website reported rates for 30 gas stations in and around The Woodlands as of Saturday, Aug. 11. The average price of regular unleaded in The Woodlands is $3.47 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the Texas average at $3.48, Houston average at $3.48, and the nationwide average at $3.70.
The average gas price in The Woodlands last week was $3.47 per gallon.
The least expensive gas in The Woodlands is reported to be $3.36 for a gallon of regular unleaded, which a gasbuddy.com contributor logged at Murphy USA, 1045 Sawdust Road near Grogans Mill Road.
A gasbuddy.com user reported the most expensive gas in the area at $3.59, sold at Shell, 4725 W. Panther Creek Drive.
